Don’t bet on Saskatoon event to be Gordie Howe’s final public appearance
Thanks to groundbreaking stem cell treatment, professional hockey player Gordie Howe is recovering from a serious stroke that robbed him of his mobility and can now do most things he could do before, like throwing a football. Even pushing a shopping cart around the grocery store is a tremendous improvement for Gordie, who just months ago had very poor health. Now, Gordie can attend the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon event where it was announced that a local rink, the Kinsmen Arena, will henceforth be known as the Gordie Howe Kinsmen Arena.
